WHY THE MONEYSHIFT PROGRAM?
There are a lot of books and programs out there on how to make money. The problem with most of these books and programs is they don't look at your financial life as a whole. Rather they usually look at just one part of your financial life, such as investing, living on less, retirement planning or debt elimination for example. Also, and this is very important, these books and programs do not address your money habits (i.e. how you deal with money) and whether or not you are in control of your money.
Free financial Advice from experts
Advice from an expert: “save at least 10% of what you earn per month and invest your savings in a no load index fund …”
Good advice, but first you need to be in control of your money in order to save at least 10% of what you earn. If you aren't’t in control of your money you won’t be able to consistently live on less than you earn. If you aren’t in control of your money you will rationalize (i.e. make rational lies) why you can’t live on less than you earn.
Advice from an expert: “Have an emergency fund with at least 6 months worth of living expenses …”
Great advice, but if you aren’t in control of your money you won’t be able to save 6 months worth of living expenses. Also, if you didn’t have the other proper wealth assurances your emergency fund (as well as all your savings and assets) could be wiped out by a single event. Before you build your emergency fund you need to have the other proper wealth assurances in place which this expert forgot to tell you.
Advice from an expert: “you need to create and use a budget…”
Great advice, a budget is a financial tool that will help keep you on track to achieve your financial goals. But if you aren’t in control of your money you really won’t use a budget. This is because a budget (just like a diet) doesn’t work until you shift (change) your relationship with money from one where you make unconscious emotional decisions to one where you are in control of your money and make conscious and mindful decisions. Once you are in control of your money you can understand and use a budget for what it is. It is a financial tool that helps to keep you on track to grow your wealth and attain your financial goals.
If you haven’t shifted your relationship with money to one where you are in control then you will feel constrained when you use your budget and one day (just like with a diet) you will blow it big time and eventually quit following it (just like a diet).
Address your whole financial well-being
The MoneyShift program is different, it is about change, it is about empowering you to be in control of your financial life. The program addresses your financial life as a whole integrated system. The MoneyShift program is about learning life changing financial concepts and tools. Reduce financial stress
The MoneyShift program is about taking action using these tools to move you forward to grow your wealth and achieve your financial goals. It is a step-by-step program that starts at the beginning - at the who, what, when, where and why you spend and invest money the way you do. Each step teaches you healthy financial habits that will help you to grow your wealth. Each step builds on the preceding steps principals so that by the time you finish the MoneyShift program all your doubts and confusion about money and wealth will have been eliminated forever. You will have a clear map of your current and future financial life. You will have less confusion regarding money and less stress regarding money. You will have more wealth and more peace of mind regarding your financial life and your life as a whole.
A new look at your money
One way to look at the MoneyShift process is in terms of an automobile. Money is the vehicle that you use to get to your destinations (financial and life goals). The majority of people act as is if money is their final destination. They are driving their financial cars without their hands on the steering wheel (no control), looking in the rear view mirror (where they’ve been, not where they are going) and with the pedal to the metal (spending as fast as they can). More often than not their car is in reverse - and they never seem to accumulate wealth. They stay in debt, they take out home equity loans to pay off their credit cards and then they run the balances back up. They have little or no savings, they argue with their spouse over money and they are setting their children up for the same. And they wonder, “how did this happen?”
Where did you learn your money habits/skills?
Another reason you should use the MoneyShift program is because of the answer to the above question. For most people they didn’t learn how to be in control of their money because they weren’t taught this at home or in their schools. They also didn’t learn wealth building money habits. Most people learned their money habits from a consumer society; they learned how to be consumers. As a result, most people have weak wealth cornerstones, especially the most important one – consistently living on less than they earn.
CONSIDER THE COST OF DOING NOTHING
If nothing changes nothing changes. If you didn’t learn proper wealth building money habits then you need to change your habits because if you continue with your current financial habits you will get more of what you have today. Your current wealth is a summary of all your past financial decisions. All your past financial decisions were made with your current money behaviors. Your future wealth will be a result of your future money decisions. To grow your wealth make these financial decisions using the money behaviors from the MoneyShift program.
